"Titahi Bay" art print
"Titahi Bay" print was illustrated by Lesh in her Wellington home, a customer request for a customers photo with their permission "Titahi Bay" is a suburb of Porirua and is on the foot of a short peninsula on the west coast of the porirua harbour.
This design was a pleasure to illustrate and I decided to take inspiration from my earlier works like "Karaka Bay" and "Wellington Seascape" as well as all my NZ native bird illustrations. Jes who lives in Titahi Bay requested a depiction of her photo of Titahi bay and we worked together to add elements to the edges like the Harakeke flax and the bell bird (Korimako) which is frequently found in that area
This piece is a natural progression bringing all of my elements together from a number of my illustrations to form a cohesive, native, New Zealand nature inspired art piece.
